Q. What happens if the business is forced to cease trading due to unforeseeable economic restraints, and the funded project is incomplete?

This really depends on the terms and conditions. Some grants may state that all funds must be repaid if project is not completed. * It is imperative that all terms and conditions are read and fully understood before making an application.

Q. Are grants only available for specific projects?

It is usually a requirement for the applicant to state the exact purpose of the grant which is being applied for. However, there is also support and funding for businesses in the form of training and development. This can be organised through your local Business Link office.
